Toward the realisation of a sustainable society, Unison Environmental Sustainability Foundation (UESF) believes that it is important to drive forward and develop initiatives of this kind throughout the product lifecycle, taking careful note of social issues and needs, the level of stakeholder concern, and the other wide-ranging changes in the world around us.
As consumer lifestyles grow more affluent, various environmental problems are emerging, including climate change, resource depletion, pollution, and loss of biodiversity. In response to the issue, debate within the global community is increasing on how to achieve carbon neutrality and how to realise a circular economy. Recognizing the business impact of environmental issues, many companies see the importance of helping address these issues in partnership with national and local governments, experts and other stakeholders. Unison Environmental Sustainability Foundation (UESF) identifies business risks and opportunities by envisioning different ways in which society will change based on information received from specialised institutions and government agencies.

Our Objectives
Unison Environmental Sustainability Foundation's (UESF) primary objectives are: to relieve poverty-social inclusion, promote environmental conservation, mitigate climate change and promote the conservation of natural resources; to achieve these, the foundation aims to improve people's lives and the communities for a better environment-protection of the global ecosystems, and better tomorrow.
Preservation and Conservation
Preservation and conservation are both processes that protect the environment, but their approaches are somewhat different. The goal of preservation is to protect the environment from the harmful effects of human activity, while Conservation seeks the sustainable use of nature by humans, for activities such as hunting, logging etc. Both are key objectives of which Unison Environmental Foundation (UESF) specialise in.
These five fields in environmental science, atmospheric sciences, ecology, environmental chemistry, geosciences, and social sciences will be invested in. An environmental studies major will give people the knowledge, skills and analytical tools needed to tackle these environmental challenges on a local, regional and international level. We will create a more sustainable, healthier environment for generations to come.
Concerning fundraising, Unison Environmental Sustainability Foundation (UESF) will encourage donors from local and international levels to invest in our projects for the primary purpose of encouraging people and communities to imbibe environmental sustainability practices in their daily engagements for the betterment of the people and the Earth.
Environmental awareness and sustainability are not only environmental, but also ethical. And since sustainability is the key to a better future. Humans rely on natural resources for business, activities, and survival. Ignoring sustainability can lead to the exhaustion of natural resources. Sustainability is vital to study even if you aren't an environmental science major. In this regard, all necessary information will be supplied at local, national and international levels through provisions of adequate materials such as pamphlets and seminars to create awareness.
Unison Environmental Sustainability Foundation (UESF) will work and support other charities and foundations to carry out our and their aims. This joint work could include the following: • Fundraising, donating or making a grant to the other organisation. • Collaborating to deliver a project or contract, or share facilities. This will be an effective way of using Unison Environmental Sustainability Foundation (UESF) resources to further its charitable purposes. This will be in Unison Environmental Sustainability Foundation's (UESF) best interests.
Unison Environmental Sustainability Foundation (UESF) research and innovation output will play a critical role in delivering on Nigeria's and global governments' commitment to reach ‘net-zero’ carbon emissions as a nation by 2050 through the promotion of viable research in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and the federal government. The role of government in protecting the environment stretches far beyond designing effective environmental policies, but in making sure that all programs developed to make sure that Nigeria achieve its sustainability goal are adequately executed.
